Went across the street to get some coffee and saw this out of the corner of our eye when my wife said she was hungry. So glad she said she was hungry, this place is a hole in the wall looking place with absolute god tier cooks and customer service! Please do not be turned off by the price - seems high until you get your food. Shrimp plate was packed with clean tasting shrimp, my tacos with hand made tortillas were a pleasant surprise, salsa was hot for both red and green. Will definitely return!

You know how sometimes you find an amazing thing in a place you don't expect? Well, that's El Camaroncito. It's an industrial area of Riverside, CA. Warehouses and loud trucks and dust and grit. Only outdoor seating in the summer heat and the winter cool. The paint is a bit faded and peeling in places. It's definitely not the place I'd expect to find some of the most delicious Mexican food I've had anywhere, yet here we are. I legit eat here multiple days every time I have a job in Riverside. The staff is always absolutely fantastic. The food is always spectacular. The seating area is kept clean and as welcoming as possible, although the above mentioned loud trucks may hamper your lunch conversation. Still, I will never miss a chance to stop in for seafood soup or camarones a la diabla. Tomorrow, I'm getting tacos! My boss got some today and they looked like I've been missing out. Sorry for no pics. I was in a work meeting. Also, my phone was keeping the wind from stealing the napkins.

Great food, I love the tacos and ceviche mixto. Just make sure you have time on your lunch break because service is a bit slow since they make most stuff fresh

I love the soup I feel like it helps with a hangover even more than Menudo. This is the first time I tried the shrimp taco. It was pretty good I would say 4 to 5 would get it again, but the soup keeps me coming back. It has different types of seafood, and even Mantaraya meat. This place is great when it's not busy it doesn't usually ever seem to be too busy except for lunchtime when the workers are there I always crave the soup when I have a small headache and this place hasn't changed the flavor or the recipe in quite some time which is great.

Hey if you're looking for a real Mexican authentic experience, this is the place you're looking for a mom and pops hole in the wall restaurant serving up nothing but delicious Mexican food!!! It's sitting on Rubidoux Boulevard only seating they have is the patio out front with some very simple cement tables to sit at. The staff is very friendly and helpful with deciding what to get off the menu. You haven't been there or you're intimidated by the looks of it lol get over yourself stop by and get yourself some homemade Mexican food. I'll be coming back here really soon.
